Can't Do Nothin' Right

from by Stacy Jones

"I was in a strange place surrounded by strangers and only a couple of close friends, and I managed to piss them off too. So I wrote this song and was soon forgiven." -stacy jones

I can’t Do Nothin’ Right
I can’t do nothing right – spent all of my life just trying to tow the line
I can’t do nothing right – I got drunk the other night and I can’t walk a straight line
I don’t know what’s wrong with me I just can’t find that beat
You had better let me be, I’m better on my own
Take my word don’t waste your time, I’ve got a made up mind
I’ll be ok I’ll be just fine, I’m better on my own.
Can’t undo what you have done, can’t forget what you now know.
Can’t undo the seeds you sow, I’m better on my own.
I always act the fool; I don’t know how to play it cool
But one thing is true, I’m better on my own.
I don’t carry me no load, I keep my eyes upon the road
Better than being in one place, better that being the newest face
(chorus/bridge 4x)
